    Energy efficiency is one of the main environmental targets of Locum that operates the hospital property. Therefore Caverion has worked actively to reduce the energy consumption. During the year 2002-2009 we have managed to save approx. 10,500 MWh through energy optimization and energy projects.

  • Backup power: UPS handles all power to the whole hospital area. Tests are operated weekly to ensure operation. 600 m3 diesel in the premises secure functionality of the hospital for 7 days.
  • Pneumatic Tube Transport system built 2003-2006 with 9 km of pipeline and 104 stations. It transfers 50,000 deliveries per month.
